'Pretty Little Liars' Actor Brandon Jones Charged After Allegedly Pointing Gun at Neighbor

Not so pretty. Pretty Little Liars actor Brandon Jones was charged with assault on Thursday, April 14. He allegedly pointed a gun at his neighbor last year in North Hills, California.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office confirmed in a news releasethat Jones, 27, "exhibited a hidden handgun" during an argument with a neighbor on October 30, 2015. Additionally, the DA said that he waved a knife and pointed a handgun at someone during a separate incident on March 24.
The North Carolina native now faces one felony count of assault and two misdemeanor counts for "exhibiting a deadly weapon and exhibiting a concealable firearm in public." If convicted, he could serve more than five years in state prison.
Jones' rep released a statement about the situation on Thursday. "It is our understanding that the gun in Mr. Jones' possession was fully legal and registered, that he was on his girlfriend's private property, and that he and his girlfriend felt that they were under threat in a dispute with neighbors," the rep told TMZ. The case is still under investigation.
Jones is best known for playing Andrew Campbell on Freeform's Pretty Little Liars. (Freeform was previously known as ABC Family.) He has also appeared on Switched at BirthCSI: Crime Scene Investigation2 Broke GirlsThe Fosters and two episodes of the Netflix hit Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
