BIRDMAN FLIPS OUT ON ‘BREAKFAST CLUB,’ LEAVES INTERVIEW BEFORE IT STARTS

rdman made a pit stop at “The Breakfast Club” this morning, where things ended as quickly and tensely as they started.
“Stop playing with my fucking name, period,” the Cash Money cofounder told Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy, before the interview even officially began. Once he did sit down, he lasted for less than two minutes, particularly directing his venom at Charlamagne.
All I can say is, just watch.

Birdman’s hostility could stem from a few places. In January of last year, Charlamagne said that “Cash Money would be dead if it wasn’t for Lil Wayne,” and questioned Birdman’s handling of the situation.
In December, Rick Ross appeared on the show and also weighed in on the ongoing issues between Birdman and Lil Wayne.
“I don’t have [a relationship] with Birdman,” he said. “If you read The Source magazine, you would see that, right now, me just seeing what Wayne going through as an artist, him being a boss, me idolizing Birdman at a time, me looking up to Lil Wayne, Wayne being the first artist to make so many feats, not just as an artist, but an artist coming from the South — that’s something that I took personal. So, for me to see the way things are transpiring, I can’t respect that. And I don’t respect that.
“That ain’t the way this game built to be on, and I ain’t wit it. And I ain’t nobody you could play with.”
A month before that, Trick Daddy was on the show, and also discussed Birdman and his business moves.
“When you try and be a CEO, when you try to be a rapper, and you try and be a ladies man, and you trying to be a girlfriend, and you trying to be a viewcrip and a blood,” he said. “If you don’t stand for something, you fall for anything.”
Despite the tension, Charlamagne doesn’t seem too stressed.
